Cambridge Raspberry Jam<\/strong> is an event and meet-up for those interested in the Raspberry Pi family of computing devices and other technologies which encourage making and education.More information is available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also run a Raspberry Jam in Bedfordshire known as Potton Pi & Pints<\/strong> and we also hold Pi Wars<\/strong>, a Raspberry Pi-based robotics challenge event<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CamJam EduKits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CamJam, in association with and through the The Pi Hut<\/a>, sells electronics kits to support the goals of the Jam. Primarily using the Python language, these kits help you to get started with physical computing<\/strong>. Starting at just \u00a36, there are three kits available from The Pi Hut<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Starter<\/a> – a basic kit to help you light up LEDs, detect button presses and sound a buzzer working towards a Traffic Light project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Sensors<\/a> – our second kit featuring sensors to detect movement, light and temperature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Robotics<\/a> – build your very own remote control and autonomous robot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    All the kits are accompanied by downloadable worksheets which not only tell you what<\/em> to do but why<\/em> you should and how<\/em> it works!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
